First off, thank you to everyone who pulled up to HandleBar! The energy in the room was unbelievable, the 360 camera footage was insane, and our recent event recaps and clips have been doing crazy numbers on socials.
The momentum this summer is real, but as much as I love a wild night out, nightlife can be exhausting. So, we decided to build something better.
This Sunday, August 2nd (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM), we are hosting The Backyard Social: An Elevated Family Reunion & Cookout Experience.
We Didn’t Just Book a Venue, We Built a Sanctuary 🎨
We put our actual blood, sweat, and heart into this space. We hand-built a brand-new deck, replaced the fence, and hand-painted a custom ALIGN mural in our brand colors. Every detail was designed to make you feel warm, grounded, and aligned the second you walk in.
Here is what makes this Sunday so special:
🧀 The Culinary Spread: A full Open Family Reunion menu by my bestie and STL powerhouse Meals By Milli, featuring an exclusive Custom Mac & Cheese Bar, gourmet finger foods, and summer desserts.
🎧 The Soundscape: High-fidelity, open-format summer classics, soulful house, Salsa, and Bachata with a multi-DJ rotation featuring DJ AO, DJ Manifest, and guest selectors.
🤸🏽 Double Dutch & Culture: Interactive Double Dutch sessions led by Kesha Kent, tournament-style UNO, Dominoes, and Spades.
🧸 Inspiring the Next Gen: Kids aren’t just welcome, they’re encouraged to play, create, and watch professional DJs, chefs, and entrepreneurs in action! (Plus chalk, bubbles, and retro Mario Kart on the big screen).
