There is a specific kind of magic that happens when you take the “competition” out of the room and replace it with collaboration.

Our third Sunday afternoon DJ Practice & Play session was our most vibrant yet. My home in St. Louis transformed into a lab for four different styles to merge.

We welcomed DJ Xela and DJ LaShay to the rotation alongside second-timer DJ Spacetime.

We also had the pleasure of hosting Monifa Perry, a talented photographer who recently moved here from New York.

We first crossed paths at our “A Turn At The Table” set at Sophie’s Artist Lounge. Seeing our community expand to include visual artists is a beautiful delight.

The Vision

These sessions are the foundation for the DJ AO PreGame Series launching this Spring.

I want to bring this “homey,” comfortable, high-energy vibe to private parties across the city - places where you have the space to dance, be yourself, and celebrate life.
